BTS’s J-Hope Reveals Why His LA Home Took the Spotlight on 'I Live Alone'

BTS’s J-Hope recently made an appearance on the popular reality show I Live Alone, where he offered fans a rare glimpse into his personal life. However, rather than showcasing his home in South Korea, he instead revealed his residence in Los Angeles, sparking curiosity among both the show's hosts and viewers.

The episode, which aired on February 28, followed J-Hope as he navigated his daily routine in LA, where he has been staying while working on his solo music projects after completing his military service. As the hosts of the show watched his segment, they couldn’t help but ask why he chose to reveal his LA home rather than his Korean one.

In response, J-Hope candidly explained, “After being discharged from the military, I traveled to the States. During that time, I was actually preparing for a move in Korea, so my living situation there wasn’t fully settled yet.” His answer left room for future possibilities, and when host Jun Hyun Moo jokingly suggested that J-Hope might showcase his Korean home on the show one day, the BTS member laughed and agreed, saying, “Okay, I will.”

During the episode, J-Hope also gave fans insight into his creative process while living abroad. He was seen spending time at a park, where he hummed melodies, noted potential lyrics on his phone, and drew inspiration from his surroundings. His time in LA has been a period of deep artistic focus, as he gears up for an exciting year ahead.

In addition to his work on new music, J-Hope recently announced his solo world tour, Hope on the Stage, which officially kicked off on February 28 in Seoul. The tour will run until June 2025 and includes stops in major cities across Asia and North America, marking a significant chapter in his solo career.

Fans are eagerly anticipating what’s next for J-Hope, and with his promise to possibly share more of his personal life in the future, there’s much to look forward to.
